Standard Desktop Font Licence:
Basic conditions of use.
When you buy a G-Type desktop font you are buying a licence to use it on a designated number of devices such as a desktop computer, laptop or tablet.
The Standard Desktop Licence permits use on up to 5 devices or workstations by default. You can easily increase the total number of licensed users/devices by selecting the appropriate number (up to 1,000) in your shopping basket before purchase. Or you can purchase a Standard Licence first and extend it at a later date.
The full terms and conditions of usage are contained in our End User Licence Agreement (EULA); we know that reading a EULA is comparable with watching paint dry but we recommend that you at least scan the quick overview section at the start to familiarise yourself with the main points.
If you’re looking to embed a G-Type webfont into a self-hosted site simply choose the appropriate pageview figure in your shopping cart.
Alternatively, if you’re a larger organisation with more complex or bespoke requirements you’ll need to contact us and arrange the most appropriate licence.
Additional licences are also available for developers or companies wishing to embed G-Type fonts into software or hardware products like games and smart phones, or to include our font software in web & server based applications.
